王家軒在國外取得政治學學位，回到台灣，因緣際會進了出版業，在八旗文化擔任編輯，後來又到了麥田出版社，歷練了不同的書種，又回到八旗文化。今年，他轉換跑道，擔任左轉有書書店的店長。
