The investigation quickly took a promising turn as an older woman, Laverne Pavlinac admitted to having information on her then boyfriend, John Sasnovske being involved with the murder of Taunja. As Police continued their investigation, Laverne not only continued to change her story, but she implicated herself in Taunja's Murder as well. Five years, and two convictions later, happy faces with messages taking ownership of not only Taunja's, but other murders started to show up, and the police were forced to look to see if they made a huge mistake believing Laverne's confession..
