Murder Unscripted

Ed, Melissa, and guest host, Katie, are joined by retired NYPD Detective Steve Pelan for an intimate conversation about his life, his career, and the years spent hunting down one of New York City's most sadistic killers.

In week 2 of MU’s dive into bodiless crimes, Ed takes listeners on a personal journey through the sadistic murder of aspiring New York City real estate mogul, Bruce Blackwood - describing the challenges of bringing this big time case to the small screen.

When a murder happens, but the victim is never found, police and prosecutors face an uphill battle. In MU’s pilot episode, Melissa and Ed explore the challenges of “no body” cases and deep dive into the twisted murder of Jessica O’Grady.

Meet your hosts, Ed and Melissa, as they explain who they are, why they’re here, and what you can expect from MU. For more information, check out our website.
