從桃園市中心向東北方走，約10幾分鐘的車程，就會來到一個名為虎頭山的近郊，這裡被稱之為桃園人的後山，因為緊鄰市中心，又有著豐富的自然生態，每逢假日都吸引了不少遊客前來健行踏青，但早期這裡不但飆車族盛行，時常有人打架鬧事，也因為地處偏僻，成為了許多命案的棄屍地點，有很長的一段時間淪為治安敗壞的黑色地帶，更因此傳出了不少的靈異傳聞
