Repeats are when the other station needs part or all of the QTC exchange, which is a variation of the QTC Exchange practice. See the Official Worked All Europe DX Contest website for additional details and rules - https://www.darc.de/der-club/referate/conteste/wae-dx-contest/en/ .
For each exchange, try to head-copy it. First, it is sent in Morse code. Then it is spoken. And finally, it is sent again in Morse code. If you missed something the first time when it was sent, the second time allows you an opportunity to learn it.
