President Donald Trump proposed that the U.S. should “own” the Gaza Strip, “level the site,” and develop it into a resort destination, calling it “the Riviera of the Middle East.”
His plan, outlined in a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, involved displacing over two million Palestinians, a move Netanyahu said was worth considering.
