A Jeju Air flight from Bangkok crashed at Muan International Airport, South Korea, killing 179 people in the deadliest plane crash since 2018. Two crew members survived and were hospitalized.
The Boeing 737-800 crash-landed without its landing gear deployed, burst into flames, and only its charred tail remained.
Investigators are analyzing black boxes and communications to determine the cause, with bird strike warnings and potential landing gear failure under scrutiny.
