The federal government has appointed Kevin Brosseau, former RCMP deputy commissioner, as Canada’s new fentanyl czar.
This position is part of Ottawa’s efforts to address the fentanyl crisis and reassure the U.S. that Canada is actively working to disrupt the illegal production and distribution of the drug.
