They are in for a severe case of sticker shock. President Trump and congressional Republicans have been trying for more than a decade to kill the ACA, and they’re hoping the upcoming explosive cost of policies turns the public against “Obamacare.” But it’s more likely to serve as a reminder that the GOP is squarely on the side of insurance companies and is willing to shut down the government in order to protect corporate profits.
