Hurricane Milton, which regained Category Five strength on Tuesday, is barreling toward the Gulf Coast of Florida early this morning and is expected to strike much of the state in darkness tonight. The storm has sustained winds of one hundred sixty miles per hour and is centered on a diagonal trajectory about three hundred miles southwest of Tampa.
