August 5th: Murder of Holly Piirainen (1993) It’s hard to believe that, in a time where forensics have advanced so much, there are still so many unsolved cases. On August 5th 1993 a young girl disappeared from a small, seemingly safe, town. And, to this day, not only is her murder officially unsolved, but so is that of a young girl who was murdered years later by, potentially, the same individual.
