July 25th: Alison Parrott Killed (1986)
You try your best to prepare children for the awful chance that they come into contact with a dangerous deviant. On July 25th 1986 a young girl fell victim to one of these men. A girl who, prior to her abduction, was taught how to avoid men like this, called her mother and let her know where she was going, and prepared a safe route to her destination and home. None of which mattered when the killer found a smart work around for all their planning.
