September 14th: Elliott Speer Killed (1934)
When we hear the words “murder” and “school” in the same sentence most will, unfortunately, think of all the children lost to school shooters. This case, though set at a prestigious school in Massachusetts, has a different type of victim. On September 14th 1934 a headmaster was shot and killed inside his home in a case that, though a likely suspect was found, remains unsolved to this day.
