October 10th: Carol Wilkinson Killed (1977)
Interrogations, while incredibly important, don’t always help to solve a case. Or at least, not in the way that matters. On October 10th 1977 a young woman was killed on her way to work and, just 18 months later, a man was placed behind bars for the crime. A man whose interrogation became a major problem and led to, not only grave miscarriage of justice, but to a murder that remains unsolved to this day.
