September 17th: Eric Christopher Houston’s Sentence Upheld (1993)
Some people are incapable of taking the blame for the hardships in their lives. That’s not to say there aren’t some outside factors but, for most, we can take all the bad in our lives and try our best to turn it around and make some positive change. On September 17th 1993 a judge in California was set to decide the sentence for a man who sat in the rubble of his crumbling life and only had 1 person to blame. His high school civics teacher.
