June 2nd: Kelsey Smith Abducted and Murdered (2007)
Some of these stories, while horribly tragic, have a small silver lining. Maybe it’s a law that no one knew we needed, or a foundation that wouldn’t have been started otherwise. On June 2nd 2007 a young girl was abducted at the prime of her life. And, while her death was incredibly tragic, it forced a law into place that has saved countless others.
