Like the Alaska Bear Attack, a backcountry ski trip with three friends that turned into a living nightmare when they unknowingly skied over a den and awoke a mother bear and her cub from hibernation. Bleeding and hypothermia were imminent, but his friends had to try their best to keep him alive while waiting for rescue – and hoping the bear wouldn’t come back for them.
