May 16th: Ethel Geller Dies (1930)
The stress of motherhood, life, and finances can sometimes feel like it’s too much to bear. On May 16th 1930 a woman who used a rifle to try and correct these stressors died while awaiting criminal charges. A woman who, prior to trying to take her own life, took the lives of her many children.
