October 10th: Michael Player Kills Self (1986)
The life of the homeless living in areas like Skid Row is never an easy one. And, it got infinitely more difficult in the early 70s when a series of serial killers plagued the area, taking the homeless and using them as “targets of opportunity”. On October 10th 1986 one of these killers, a man they called the Skid Row Slayer, took his own life and ended, at least one, deadly mission.
