April 8th: John Christie Born (1899)
Sometimes police get it wrong. There is no sugar coating it in this particular case. On April 8th 1899 a man was born who would, as an adult, be responsible for the deaths of a number of people. Three of his victims, and their subsequent trial, would go down in history when John Christie, the serial killer, was the star witness that sent his victim’s husband to the gallows for their murder.
