When a killer dies before their arrest, they take with them a chance to understand their motive for their crimes. Motives that, while in no way excuse an act, give an insight that some can find comforting. On May 14th 1934 a man was born who would go on to begin a bloodbath that, in the end, we have no idea why he decided to commit.
