Sometimes, it takes decades to solve a cold case. And, sometimes, even when a case seems solved on the surface, it remains cold in the eyes of the law. On October 28th 1970 a woman was brutally beaten to death in her Texas home and, with her death, came a pursuit for her killer that, depending on who you believe, may already be dead.
