A prison escape is the stuff of legends and movies. You don’t hear about it happening often, and we can assume, and hope, that it’s an extremely difficult thing to do. On September 5th 1930 a man was sent to the gallows for a murder. A man who escaped prison not once, but more than a dozen times under multiple aliases. Carl Panzram Hanged (1930)
