The Parliamentary Services Bill 2025, set to be tabled for a second reading today, aims to re-establish the administrative autonomy of Malaysia's Parliament, a status that was altered when the original Act was repealed in 1992. Prof Wong Chin Huat, Deputy Head of Strategy at the Asia Headquarters of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, shares his perspective.
