The situation on the Korean peninsula has worsened, after North Korea blew up a joint liaison office in the border town of Kaesong, South Korea on Tuesday. The rapid deterioration in relations come only two years after a new era of bilateral ties was touted. So for a better understanding of how things got so bad, we speak to Dr. Hoo Chiew-Ping, Senior Lecturer at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
