Show Notes

Freedom fund, f*** off fund, no matter what you want to call it, we all need an escape plan from a bad job, bad relationship, or just bad situation that involves having a stack of cash in the bank in case we need to leave. I discussed this and more with Paulette Perhach, who coined the term "f*** off fund" in an article she wrote which subsequently went viral. Paulette is also an author of Welcome to the Writer's Life and continues to write articles for publications like the New York Times, Elle, Cosmopolitan and McSweeney's. She also helped me craft my book proposal which landed me a book deal, so Paulette will always be someone I'm so thankful came into my life!
