In this episode of THE UNRULE/Y ENTREPRENEUR, I invited an amazing UNRULE/Y community member Angela Christian is a Silicon Valley CFO, best selling author, podcast host, RRT hypnotherapist, and mother of 3. After almost dying from black mold in 2015 and experiencing spirits trying to warn her child of the dangers, she began her spiritual journey. While keeping one foot in Silicon Valley, she trained in mysticism, shamanism, energy medicine, mediumship, and other healing arts. While on this journey, she began healing from the trauma of her past, including anorexia, addiction, domestic violence, and severe PTSD. She wrote a book, Manifestation Mastery, documenting pieces of this journey, while also filing for divorce. But it wasn't until she found me (through Kathrin Zenkina) and began taking my courses, most recently KN/OWN, and studying RRT that she experienced major quantum leaps. During a recent intensive with me she shared her idea about a new program: Clean BDE (Baby Daddy Energy) that was inspired by her journey of healing the toxic energy she had felt towards her 3 baby daddies. She was able to go from debilitating PTSD to feeling completely neutral about them...and one she'd even consider a friend. She saw the positive difference this had on her children and she knew this was the medicine she was meant to share with the world. I'm sure all of you guys already know and love the Okay, Sis Podcast with Scout and Mady. The very first time I ever walked into a Louboutin store to buy my very first pair of red bottoms I had dreamt about it, I had researched, I knew exactly what pair I wanted, and I knew what store they would be in, and I walked in. I flew to New York City to have it be a whole experience. Now, mind you guys, like I'm the girl who grew up in a trailer, one bedroom trailer that my dad and step mom slept in. We walk in and I am just filled with anxiety. My stomach is just a complete wreck and I'm like, “They're going to know I was the girl who grew up in the trailer. They're going to know I don't belong here. They're going to know I'm not like a multi-millionaire. “You guys, if you're on the stage you are playing the biggest, because most people are not even willing to step onto the stage. And you did. And here you are.” In a Voxer container this week, a client asked a question around the idea of playing small versus being in your power. She said, “Can you riff a bit on power and playing small? I feel like I'm often not in my power or I play small, so I'd love to hear any insight on this.” I'm going to share with you the response that I sent to her in Voxer because I think I said it in a really condensed, potent way. And then I'm going to expand on this a little bit afterwards for you guys, because this was such a meaty, amazing question. I was actually even really surprised with where my mind brought me to this because there was an old version of myself that would have entertained the belief that there is a possibility to play small, now I don't think that's the most useful way of looking at life.
