Mohammed Ali Naqvi (Urdu: محمد علئ نقوئ; born 1979) is a Pakistani filmmaker based in New York City.[1] He is known for documentaries which shed light on the socio political conditions of Pakistan, and feature strong characters on personal journeys of self-discovery.[2] Notable films include Insha'Allah Democracy (2017), Among the Believers (2015), Shame (2007), and Terror's Children (2003).

Mohammad Jibran Nasir
Jibran Nasir is a Lawyer, Political Activist, Pakistani. Lead Campaigner at Never Forget Pakistan, Trustee Elaj Trust. He is a lawyer by profession[4] and is known for criticizing state policies regarding banned organisations in Pakistan and call attention to the need for protection of minorities.[5] Nasir has been a trustee at Elaj Trust and involved in relief work through Elaj Trust.[6] He founded the NGO, Never Forget Pakistan[7] and is also involved in advocacy for marginalised communities through Pakistan For All.[8] Nasir became prominent following the December 2014's Peshawar's school attack which led to 150 dead after he led the procession calling for the arrest of Lal Masjid cleric Abdul Aziz,[9][10][11] for which he subsequently received alleged threats from Taliban spokesman.[12]
Dr. Taimur Rahman
Taimur Rahman (Urdu/Punjabi: تیمور رحمان) is a Pakistani political activist who is the Secretary-General of the Mazdoor Kisan Party (MKP). He is also an academic and musician. He is the lead guitarist and spokesperson for the progressive music band Laal. He teaches political science at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). He has been outspoken in his criticism of capitalist exploitation and religious fundamentalism. He is the author of the book The Class Structure of Pakistan published by Oxford University Press. The book won the Akhtar Hameed Khan Memorial Award for the best social sciences book about Pakistan in 2012. Whether it be spirituality or art or the purpose of existence. Gauher Aftab has held leadership roles at companies involved in education, advertising, financial services, telecom, and various tech industries. In his previous position he helped to scale CarFirst, an auto sector startup, in under two years to 300 full-time employees and a million dollars in monthly topline. Prior to that he has worked as an adviser and consultant for the KP Education Support Program to develop training and curriculum for new teaching staff; and was a co-founder of CFx Comics, where he launched Pakistan's 1st Urdu comics platform and a primary years children's reading app, as well as implementing several social and behavioral change communications projects including a comic book series to counter extremist narratives among young adults and adolescents.

Muhammad Ali Sadpara
Muhammad Ali known as Ali Sadpara[1] (born February 2, 1976; missing since 5 February 2021)[2] is a Pakistani mountaineer. He was part of the team that successfully achieved the first ever winter summit on Nanga Parbat in 2016.[3] Both his teammates, Alex Txikon and Simone Moro, have gone on record stating that they could not have done it without Sadpara's brilliance. He had successfully climbed four eight-thousanders in a calendar year and a total of eight in his career.[4] Sadpara and his 21-year-old son Sajid Sadpara, who had climbed K2 in 2019, teamed up with Icelandic mountaineer John Snorri Sigurjónsson[5] and Chilean mountaineer Juan Pablo Mohr Prieto[6] for a joint K2 ascent, leaving the highest camp on the evening of February 4, 2021. Sajid had to descend due to a technical issue, leaving the others at the Bottleneck, close to the summit. His father, Snorri, and Mohr kept climbing up, but they didn't come back by night as planned. A rescue mission with two army helicopters was organized on February 6. The three climbers are still missing.[7]

Arieb Azhar
Arieb Azhar (born 1972) is a Pakistani musician. He is sufi and folk singer.[1] [2] [3] [4] He is best known for Husn-e-Haqiqi in Coke Studio.[5] [6] He writes in Dawn on culture and society.[7] He has spent time in Croatia and returned to Pakistan in 2004.[8] His first album, Wajj, released in 2006, consisted of eight tracks, in which he vocalized the classical lyrics of Khawaja Ghulam Farid, Bulleh Shah, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh, and even the contemporary lyrics of Sarmad Sehbai. He is second son of Nasreen and Aslam Azhar who is considered the "father of Pakistan Television".[9]
