The CARE Package was the original unit of aid distributed by the humanitarian organization CARE. Originally CARE was dubbed the Cooperative for American Remittances to Europe, and in 1946 CARE sent the world's first CARE Package care pack·age noun NORTH AMERICAN a parcel of food, money, or luxury items sent to a loved one who is away.
