Clarisa Kimskii is a Brooklyn-based DJ, producer and resident of both the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge and Volnost in Seoul. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks at international institutions such as Berghain, Tresor, Basement, Khidi and Amsterdam’s Ratherlost party, plus festival appearances at Taiwan’s Organik Festival, North America’s The Great Beyond, Honcho Campout, Sustain-Release and Japan’s Rural Festival. For MNMT 453 Clarisa presents an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves, with ethereal ambient techno delicately drifting into a swirling vortex of trippy alien synths, expertly mixed for a propulsive and atmospheric trip.
