Stephen Lewis, a renowned Canadian activist and former Ontario NDP leader, passed away at 88 after an 8-year battle with cancer. Known for his work as a politician, diplomat, and journalist, Lewis led the Ontario NDP from 1970-1978 and served as Canadas UN ambassador from 1984.
