Show Notes
Montreal author H. Nigel Thomas unveils his fifteenth book, And Then Again Begin, a captivating tale of a queer marriage in the city, marked by hidden truths, family pressures, and deep-seated trauma. This is the final installment in a quartet, following No Safeguards, Fates Instruments, and Easily Fooled. The series explores the lives of Millington and Jay, who keep their relationship secret from their parents in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Thomas, a full-time writer with a PhD from Université de Montréal, left teaching to focus on stories that delve into the human condition. The book is now available, with a launch event on May seventh at UNIA Liberty Hall in Montreal. Thomas finds crafting these characters helps him understand the world and himself. The event includes a reading, book signing, and Q&A led by his cousin, author Chanel Sutherland. This marks the end of a cycle of stories spanning four generations.
