Show Notes
Concordia University and McGill University have dropped their legal challenges against Quebecs tuition hikes for out-of-province students due to financial constraints. The hikes, aimed at reducing English-speaking enrollment, have led to significant drops in applications and enrollment at both schools. In response, the universities are offering scholarships to mitigate the increased costs. Quebec has also decided not to appeal the earlier court ruling that struck down part of the policy.
