Join New England Professional Wrestling Hall of Famer Brittany “The Boston Bad Girl” Brown, New England Independent wrestler “Dangerous” Dave Star, as well as “The Playa” Benny Scala, as they look at the murder case of South Carolina attorney Richard Alexander (Alex) Murdaugh. Murdaugh was tried and convicted for the June 7, 2021, murder of his wife Maggie and their 22-year-old son Paul. The trial began on January 25, 2023, and concluded on March 2, 2023, with Murdaugh being found guilty of 2 counts of murder and 2 counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime. Murdaugh was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences without possibility of parole. Murdaugh’s legal team has submitted a series of appeals, alleging jury tampering by Colleton County Clerk of Court Rebecca Hill. Hill has subsequently resigned and released a book on this trial. Murdaugh’s motion for a new trial was denied on January 29, 2024. Murdaugh’s lawyers appealed the lower court’s decision to the state Supreme Court.
