Each year, the organization houses more than 600 men and women, while also connecting its clients to career training opportunities, a food pantry and various community resources. Kwanzaa - Created in 1966 by Maulana Ron Karenga, it is an African American and Pan-African holiday that celebrates history, values, family, community and culture.
