On January 11, 2013, 17 year old Kendrick Johnson was found in a vertical rolled up gym mat. Law enforcement found that it was an accident where the parents believe there was foul play. This is Kendrick Johnson's story. The family filed a civil lawsuits against the Lowndes County Sheriffs office, Lowndes County High School and several other officials in an attempt to hold parties accountable in Kendricks. death in wrongful death and civil rights violations.
