My guest was born and raised in New York City and graduated from Tennessee State University and Meharry Medical College. Always interested in the African American Community, She was an active member of the Black Panther Party during the late 1960s, early 1970s. Five years ago, she began publishing a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle magazine geared toward empowering the young African American woman and serving as a publishing platform for many artisans and entertainers called Empeccable Magazine. They are located here in Atlanta and have a robust online presence. She is on the show to discuss her HBCU education and professional career. She is currently the Physician/C.E.O. of MedStop Consult Group, C.E.O./Publisher of Empeccable Magazine, C.E.O. of GetYourRefill.com and Veteran's Claims Services.
