Show Notes

Volatility specialist Dean Curnutt, founder of Macro Risk Advisors and host of the Alpha Exchange podcast, joins Jack to share his view on volatility across assets. He explains why he thinks even though equity puts may be attractive for rainy day insurance, technically equity implied vol is very expensive relative to realized vol. While in Bitcoin land, Dean argues that Bitcoin volatility is cheap because vol can expand as the asset rises. Dean shares his view of tariffs and the U.S. Treasury market. Recorded July 9, 2025.
