Krystal Henry is a native of Prince George's County who currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland. In the summer of 2015 Krystal thought of a 21st Century way to chronicle her experiences as a first-time mom, wife and professional. As ideas continued to emerge- Around the Way Mom was born! Since the initial article in 2016, Krystal has reached readers across the globe. Inspired by the song, "Around the Way Girl," by LL Cool J, the blog offers a fresh and honest perspective on motherhood, womanhood and more. Articles tackle topics from child discipline, issues within a marriage, maintaining adult friendships and self-care.. In addition, she has been a regular contributing writer for CEOMMagazine, and a submission writer for the P.A.M. Project-Preserve a Mom (NY), Not Just A Mum (London, England), New Calvary Life Church and Ministries and she has been a featured guest on various podcasts including Moms Hustle Different!
