This week on Moment of Truth, Nick sits down with Tom Sauer, founder & CEO of Miramar Health—a veteran-focused rehab center in California. Tom shares how from an early age, the impact of mental illness and addiction touch his life through his father's struggles and, once he had returned from serving his country in the Marines and in the Navy, he felt the pull to step in. Thousands of veterans are being failed by the VA system and costs of that failure are human lives.
Through his work with Miramar and in political advocacy with President Trump's Access Act, Tom is making a difference.
