Anchoring is one of the biggest investing mistake we make. Anchoring is defined as a behavioural finance concept where we use irrelevant past stock prices (anchors) that impact our current decision making and usually lead to mistakes. When you anchor your decisions on stock prices you let the market be your guide, instead it has to be your servant.
