This song is a retake on an old classic, In the Garden by C. Austin Miles, in which Bob "finishes" her song with a 4th verse and a new chorus.
She envisioned it as Mary Magdalene searching Gethsemane to be with Jesus. In Bob's interpretation, the subject (who could be you or me) come to the metaphorical garden where we hear God's "song".. first early in life then later and finally near our death. The song then pivots to a new garden in heaven where "we will stay with Him forever'.
