With Tuesday's announcement of David Ortiz being voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, Jim Callis, Jason Ratliff and Jonathan Mayo look back at what Ortiz was like as a prospect and young player. That effort was aided by talking to Nationals senior advisor Dave Jauss, who was a Red Sox advance scout and advocated for Boston to sign Ortiz after the Twins released him. Then the trio went back to looking at the future, looking at prospects we'll be talking about in 2024 as well as the top hitter and pitcher for the 2023 Draft class who will be playing in the PDP League this summer before finishing with your questions in the Mailbag.
