The Atlanta Braves have added 20-year-old pitcher Didier Fuentes to their Opening Day roster, initially in a long relief role. Fuentes impressed in spring training, striking out 17 batters in 9 innings without allowing a hit or walk. Despite injuries to other pitchers, the rotation is set with Chris Sale, Reynaldo Lopez, Spencer Strider, and Grant Holmes. Fuentes will return to starting duties in Triple-A Gwinnett after the teams initial 13-game stretch.
