Ep18 - Dr. Howard Wasdin
EFeaturing Dr. Howard Wasdin, author of 3 books, SEAL TEAM SIX: WARRIOR, SEAL TEAM SIX: OUTCASTS, and SEAL TEAM SIX: MEMOIRS OF AN ELITE NAVY SEAL SNIPER. DR. HOWARD E. WASDIN is a former Navy SEAL Team Six member and co-author of SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy Seal Sniper. He was awarded the Silver Star for his actions during the Battle of Mogadishu. Every year about 1,000 candidates sign up for Basic Underwater Demolition/Selection (BUD/S) Training. About 75-80% of the men never complete the notoriously brutal course. The ones who do complete the training become members of the Navy's elite special operations force: the Navy SEALS.

Ep17 - Michael Callen
EFeaturing Michael Callen, back by popular demand. Once again, he illuminates us with his wise words. In this episode, we discuss "The Power to Change," recognizing specific behavior patterns, managing feelings, perception and assumption you have about yourself. We also discuss the presidential campaign and the upcoming debates and what he believes is our biggest threat to the country, the growth of state.

Ep16 – Kieran Gallagher
EFeaturing Kieran Gallagher, who has been working in Hollywood as a top tier stunt man for many years. He's currently working on HANGOVER 3 and although he worked on HANGOVER 1 & 2, I didn't meet him until he showed up as my stunt double in the short lived DEATH VALLEY - that no one saw. Kieran is one of those legit tough guys who knows a hell of a lot more than he lets on and who volunteers nothing in the way of what he is or what he can do. He was a professional MMA fighter who also fought professionally as a boxer (24 pro fights before he was even in college) and then went on to fight Muay Thai in Thailand and MMA in Japan and the U.S. If you watch a UFC bout with the guy it's like he's seen the fight already. I've never seen anyone predict what's going to happen 3 seconds before it does more accurately. It's freaky. In our interview we talk about what scares him the most about being a stunt man and how he got into stunts. He then surprises me with a hidden skill set I had no idea he had and he goes on to tell a fascinating and hair raising story about where that skill set lead him. Enjoy.

Ep15 – Alana Evans
EFeaturing Alana Evans is one of those rare porn stars who's been romping on film for over 15 years and still going strong. I went to her house in the valley to do this interview and what blew me away was how normal her household looked. Dogs everywhere, pictures on the wall of family and kids, art projects on the fridge etc. I wanted to interview Alana because after meeting her several times and talking to her I couldn't get over how remarkably normal she seems. It just puzzled me how a woman could be a hard core porn star with all that entails and not fall into what most of us picture happens to people who choose to make their living fucking on film. Depression, drugs, despair etc. As you'll hear, Alana is far from any of that. She's just living her life, making money and doing what most of us do when not at work. Helping out at school functions, watching her son play football etc. We talk about how she juggles having a 19 year old son who's football team mates know exactly what his mom does, how she deals with fans, haters and the every day and then I ask her a lot of questions most guys want to ask a porn star cuz let's face it, man - SHE'S A FREAK AND WE LOVE IT! Enjoy!

Ep14 – Matt Mystery
EFeaturing a Special Operations ground-force commander who was responsible for carrying out KILL/CAPTURE missions in Iraq and Afganistan. I interviewed him after he came back from doing 5 tours in Iraq and Afganistan. He worked and commanded several JSOC missions where he worked with members of SEAL TEAM 6 and DELTA FORCE. He wasn't allowed to go into details but I think a lot of what he shares here is interesting. He says he was a member of the RANGER 365 battalion but my guess is he was MORE than a Ranger. I think he was actually DELTA or something to that equivalent. Either way, he was a humble guy with a big heart who had a job to do. That job at times was obviously to kill people. War, in the end, is the business of killing people and we speak of that at length. The irony was he was doing so because he believed he was saving American lives. He was always ready to sacrifice his own life for his fellow commandos and from what I could gather (off mic) he had been in several fire fights and other hair raising situations where that conviction was put to the test. . This is a man with a strong ideology who could not afford to think to deeply about the bigger questions so many of us in the civilian world have the luxury of pondering. Happy listening! Hope you learn something.

Ep13 – Nate Marquardt
EFeaturing Mixed Martial Arts and Strikeforce Champion, Nate Marquardt. Nate began his training in the martial arts as a teenager, studying the disciplines of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Kenpo under instructor Alistair McNiven. Ep11 – Michael Fattorosi
EFeaturing one of pornography's biggest legal defenders talk about fighting crazy laws, freedom of expression, the positive and negative side of porns vast reach, the FUTURE of porn and what it's like to be MARRIED to a porn star. Lawyer Michael Fattorosi makes no apologies. This is the first of many.

Ep10 – Michael Callen
EFeaturing the man that shaped me, my father, Michael Callen. In this podcast, MICHAEL CALLEN, talks about why he is a libertarian and how the biggest threat to our country is the "growth of the state". He takes issue with both the Republican and Democratic parties and explains why personal liberty must be defended at all costs. This is a man who ran the biggest investment bank in the world, and was also the CEO of AMBAC. He has spent a great deal of time on Capital Hill and has first hand experience at how the federal government really works. If you want to hear what the Libertarian philosophy is all about give this podcast a listen. He'll tell you why we should legalize drugs and prostitution and why government regulation and growth is the root of all evil. He's the most well read man I've ever known and it's always enlightening to hear the result - in my humble opinion. Enjoy!

Ep9 – Jimmy Burke

Ep8 – Michael Rapaport
EFeaturing film actor Michael Rapaport. A true New Yorker through and through, Michael Rapaport, the son of a radio program manager, may have moved to Los Angeles to try stand-up comedy following high school graduation (which came after a series of expulsions), but he never lost, forgot nor deserted his roots. It's embedded in his work and is a major part of his low-keyed charm and ongoing appeal. His early idols were also New Yorkers (Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, etc.). He toiled only briefly in L.A. Within a short amount of time Michael moved from the live comedy stage to working in front of a camera. The two developed an immediate rapport. A guest spot on the TV series "China Beach" (1988) led to a starring role in the quirky interracial indie Zebrahead (1992), which clinched it for him. This, in turn, led to a string of standout parts in films, such as Christian Slater's pal in True Romance (1993), an edgy collegiate-turned-skinhead in Higher Learning (1995) and a sympathetic none-too-bright boxer in Woody Allen's Mighty Aphrodite (1995), all enabling him to build up a higher profile. In later years he managed to show his ease at offbeat comedy, demonstrating a kid-like, goofy charm as Lisa Kudrow's cop boyfriend for a few episodes on "Friends" (1994) and as teacher Danny Hanson on "Boston Public" (2000). Lately he has formed his own production company, Release Entertainment, in search of that one big breakout role that could nab top stardom for him.

Ep7 – John "Bloodclot" Joseph
EFeaturing the lead singer for the Cro-Mags, John "Bloodclot" Joseph. Joseph was raised in foster care and grew up on the streets of New York. He was the lead singer for the New York hardcore punk band Cro-Mags from 1984 until 1987, though he departed and rejoined the band sporadically. He sang on their demo and on their first, third, and fourth albums (The Age of Quarrel, Alpha Omega, and Near Death Experience). He also sings lead on the Before the Quarrel CD, essentially a reissue of the demo.

Ep6 – Patty Jenkins
EFeaturing Director of "Monster," Patty Jenkins. A director with a remarkable grasp of characterization and emotional depth, Patty Jenkins stunned audiences in 2003 with her powerful debut feature, Monster. Based on the life of convicted serial killer Aileen Wuornos (played by a virtually unrecognizable Charlize Theron), Monster not only offered a thoughtful, compelling take of the killer's tragic life, but also served to showcase Jenkins as a true talent to watch for. By the tender age of six, Jenkins had pretty much traversed the globe due to her father's status as a fighter pilot; when it came time for Jenkins to pursue her higher education, she set her sights on Cooper Union. Though she hadn't really considered a career in film to this point, her creativity and interest in painting certainly pointed to a career in the arts, and Jenkins' interest in film was soon piqued. Following in the footsteps of such acclaimed filmmakers as David Lynch, Jenkins was soon accepted into the Experimental Film Program at the American Film Institute, despite an ever-increasing interest in creating narrative films. In 2001, a pair of short films, Just Drive and Velocity Rules (the recipient of the Warner Bros. Production Grant), began attracting attention to the young director.

Ep5 – Sam Brown – Part 2
EFeaturing good friend, stand-up comedian Sam Brown. This is the 2nd installment of a 2 part series. Sam Brown's career began the moment he came out of his mother's womb and was ignored by his entire family. Ep4 – Sam Brown – Part 1

Sam Brown's career began the moment he came out of his mother's womb and was ignored by his entire family. Ep3 – Dov Davidoff
EFeaturing good friend, actor and stand-up comedian Dov Davidoff. Combining hyper A.D.D. with an amusingly and acute take on things, Davidoff puts on one of the most high intensity shows in standup making him an audience favorite. Voted "Top-10 Comedy Albums of 2008″ on iTunes and PUNCHLINE magazine, his CD, "The Point Is…" released on COMEDY CENTRAL RECORDS® proves exactly that. Recorded live at the Comedy Works in Denver, CO, Davidoff's CD captures this kinetic master at his best. It's Davidoff's impeccable ability to find common ground with EVERYONE that makes him a truly great comedian. He dissects the irony and problems of the world in a way that makes funny what otherwise isn't. Dov's material makes people think and look at themselves, but laugh hysterically while doing so.
