It's incredible how few churches actually think about how Short Term Missions fits into the bigger missions vision for the church. Often we are pushed and pulled by the glittering promises of whatever promotion is thrown our way. Better to have thought through the key elements of a comprehensive strategy that will guide and help us be effective in the long view. Better to selectively choose few and best, rather than more and worst!
