So today I am in Irvine, California, and I'm at the Medical Innovation Forum powered by Octane, and my guest is Ethan Ducret. Ethan, welcome to the show. Thank you for having me. All right, man. So we're at the tail end of day two of this conference. How are you feeling? Great. Great. I mean, the energy that surrounds this event, this is actually my first Oh, a newbie. Yeah. This is my second event. So how, how's the first one been for you? Great, great. I mean, it came to support actually someone who's pitch it today, so I got to see, who was it, name rap come. Yeah. Iman Monte, founder of Finally Choir. Yeah. So it's great. Dental device company cancels high frequency noise for the clinician and also the patient as well. Yeah, I had Paymon on the show earlier. Oh, you did? Oh, past that. Yeah, out of my accident. He was he said, how you say my name? Well, pay me on Monday. Come on, man. Yeah, let me have it. Okay, my good man, I'm gonna ride you. What do you think? We're not leaving. He knows his stuff. That's awesome. So yeah, the pitches I think were amazing part of this. And also you're located, you're in California, right? Newport or Yeah, Newport Beach. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. So actually six minutes from here on the street. Okay. That's awesome. So what talk a little bit more about what you do in your role in business. Yeah, so I'm part of the business development team at Genesis. So really, I mean, we. Help with the onboarding of new clients, listening to clients needs and, you know, their business needs and we're a full service commercial bank. So really just seeing where we could come in and add value to the business baking experience. Yeah, that's what we do. And that's really what we're trying to do at Genesis is kind of re imagine the baking experience. Because as you know, I mean, a relationship with your bank is pivotal. To business growth and success. So really we're, we're putting that at the forefront of our business development team, you know, our, our goals. So being in business development, I was in business development for many, many years being in that, I feel like the community, the entrepreneurial community, all those things. Can you talk about just the entrepreneur community in Newport, Irvine, like these whole little areas? Cause I'm, I'm curious, I'm just starting to make my way down here more often, but, but what do you see? No, it's interesting you bring that up because Orange County has become a hub for entrepreneurship. But actually it's interesting you bring this up because we actually have a division of our bank that is dedicated. It's called the Genesis Bank Institute for Entrepreneurship. Oh really? Really. I mean, it's an in house consultant firm because again, that's one thing we're trying to deliver on is when we notice that the market. in our area. There's that spirit. There's that entrepreneurship spirit. There's those who want to start their small business, but they just need help getting over those obstacles because the energy and the positivity is there. But the logistics, sometimes those are the things that we need to come in and provide assistance on. Now obviously we're here at a medical innovation forum, but I'm guessing you work in other industries as well. Or am I off? Is it all like for the bank? No, you're, you're right. All, all across the board. What are, what are some of the other specialty would you say? So a lot of real estate companies, I mean, we do bank all across the board. I mean, clap tractors really, I mean, our niche, so to speak, is small to medium sized businesses, just because that's what we're trying to support. Yeah. We really want to provide that white glove service because sometimes I'll get on the phone and speak with you know, business owners and they say they try to reach their bank for support. And they're on hold for an hour, you know, up to an hour at a time. And that's vital time for a business owner who's, I mean, so busy. So that's what we're trying to change. We're trying to deliver that service to any pseudo small to medium sized business. Awesome. Final question here. If somebody wants to follow up, learn more, learn more about the bank, connect with you, follow on social media, whatever you want to leave, how do people connect? I think social media is a great way, you can always reach out to us on social media, connect with us on Instagram, LinkedIn, but also, you know, you can reach out to me directly as well, Ethan Ducret. And you can find me on LinkedIn and on social media as well. Awesome. Yep. Perfect. And for everybody I'm watching, just so you know, we'll put some links in the, in the show notes so you can just, you know, pop on over and check out Ethan and what they're up to at the bank.
