Paul warns Timothy about the tough times ahead, especially as
society breaks down. People will be selfish, disobedient and turn
away from God. Leaders must avoid these behaviors and stay true
to the teachings of Jesus. Paul also emphasizes the importance of
the Bible, which is inspired by God and useful for teaching and
guiding Christians.
