Chris Billam-Smith is a British cruiserweight boxer, former WBO world champion, and devoted father, celebrated for his disciplined training and family-focused approach. Rising through the professional ranks, he captured the vacant WBO Cruiserweight title by defeating the previously undefeated Lawrence Okolie and went on to establish himself among boxing’s elite.

In this interview we explore what life is really like behind the gloves; the dressing room psychology, the loneliness of long camps, and why true strength comes from more than just training. Chris talks openly about anxiety, the toll of time away from home, and the importance of staying connected to something bigger than boxing.
