Milwaukee Brewers Acquire New Talent: David Hamilton, Kyle Harrison, and Shane Drohan
The Milwaukee Brewers have made a significant trade with the Boston Red Sox, acquiring infielder David Hamilton, lefty starter Kyle Harrison, and promising southpaw Shane Drohan. Hamilton is expected to fill a bench role, while Harrison has shown potential in recent outings and could join the rotation.
Drohan, a 27-year-old with no major league experience, has been dominant in Triple-A and has impressed this spring. Hes currently competing for the final lefty spot in the bullpen, alongside Rob Zastryzny and DL Hall.
Drohans performance has been outstanding, with three scoreless innings against the Chicago Cubs, striking out four and allowing just one hit. Hes yet to give up a run in spring training, with five scoreless innings and seven strikeouts overall. If he continues this form, all three trade pieces could be on the opening day roster on March 26th in Milwaukee.
